Partners — Milestone Systems
What Landmark delivers
Landmark deploys Milestone video security across the Physical Security domain — scoping the environment, integrating cameras, configuring the platform, and supporting it through the life of the system. Milestone's open VMS connects cameras, analytics, and sites under one system and runs on-premises, hybrid, or cloud, so the design fits the customer's existing infrastructure instead of forcing a rebuild. On the camera side, Landmark typically pairs Milestone software with Axis hardware for a complete video deployment.
Milestone in scope
Video management software
Milestone XProtect®
XProtect connects an organization's cameras, analytics, and sites so they're managed through a single pane of glass. It supports on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-hosted deployments — single-site to large, distributed operations.
Learn moreVideo analytics
Milestone BriefCam®
BriefCam turns recorded video into searchable, actionable insight — so operators investigate incidents faster, hold better situational awareness, and spot trends across security and operations.
Learn moreVideo surveillance as a service
Milestone Arcules®
Arcules is cloud-based VSaaS that reduces on-site infrastructure and runs on a subscription model. It integrates with XProtect in hybrid environments, so an operation can move to cloud video at its own pace.
Learn moreWhy Milestone in Landmark's portfolio
Milestone anchors Landmark's video-security capability in the Physical Security domain, and two things make it a fit for the operators Landmark serves. First, it's an open platform with no vendor lock-in — a deployment can change cameras, add analytics, or move to cloud over time without replacing the system underneath. Second, it's field-tested at scale — Milestone's VMS runs across more than 500,000 sites worldwide, including the cities, transit systems, utilities, schools, and healthcare facilities Landmark works in. Milestone has built video software since 1998, has been part of the Canon Group since 2014, and runs its Americas operation out of Portland, Oregon. See Capabilities: Physical Security for the domain context and Axis Communications for the camera side.
A platform for every environment
Milestone runs across cities, transport, manufacturing, logistics, education, healthcare, and retail. For municipal, utility, and commercial operators, that breadth means one consistent video platform across sites and use cases — not a patchwork of systems that don't talk to each other.

Procurement and contracting
Landmark contracts through national distribution and holds the major cooperative purchasing agreements public-sector buyers use — including NCPA, OMNIA, Sourcewell, EQUALIS Group, and Texas DIR — and is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (NMSDC). Commercial buyers procure directly. Which vehicle applies depends on your organization and the products in scope; tell us how you buy and Landmark will confirm the path. Cooperative-purchasing detail lives on the Municipal & County Government page.

Talk through a Milestone-anchored video deployment, an analytics or cloud-video expansion, or a multi-vendor physical-security scope. The capability statement is a one-page PDF — corporate identifiers, NAICS codes, cooperative contracts, certifications, and recent project list — suitable for a procurement file.
